To Generate CSV files based on filter criteria
Capture
It can record simultaneously two surveillance data streams selected by the user
It records surveillance data directly from the switch
Minimum Duration of Recording for a low density traffic Areas 4 hours
IP Address and port no of the surveillance data is required
SDA Features
Convert
It decodes the recorded binary surveillance data
into ASTERIX category wise tabular formatted
CSV files.
Capable of decoding INDRA RADAR recorded
binary file into CSV files
Capable of decoding ADSB CAT21 messages
Capable of decoding enhanced surveillance

Comparison of RADAR and ADSB
Uses
Interpolation to
time synchronise
ADSB and
Radar Reports.
Position Reports of RADAR /ADSB
Radar position reports are in local polar coordinate
system with Slant height, Azimuth and Flight Level
(ρ,θ,H)
ADSB Position Reports are in Geocentric
coordinate system with latitude, longitude and
Flight level
Co-ordinate transformation
Comparison of ADSB and Radar requires coordinate transformation.
SDA transforms ADSB position reports in Geocentric system to local polar coordinate system of RADAR.
Co-ordinate transformation algorithms prescribed in EUROCONTROL document CAT.017,APPENDIX A: Coordinate Transformation, are used for transforming ADSB position reports to Radar coordinate system.
The same process is used by automation systems to generate single track from multiple surveillance sources
Calculation
The distance between the position reports of ADSB
and RADAR is calculated using the formula
D = Sqrt (r1 2 + r2 2 - 2r1 r2 cos (θ1 - θ2))
Compare RADAR & ADSB
Compare automatically generates ADSB and Radar
reported Position comparison report for a specific
flight. The following details are need to be filled
up for comparison.

2-D Plot Display
It plots the position reports of ADSB & RADAR
simultaneously for visual analysis
Flight path trajectory can be analyzed
Zoom and Offset feature for minute analysis
Distance between points can be measured
TOD label can be plotted
