Design podcasts In 2009, I partnered up with Megan Arquette of the blog Beach Bungalow 8 and Joni Webb of Cote de Texas and created a “radio” podcast chat series that we called “The Skirted Roundtable” (with a little nod towards The Algonquin Roundtable). We fashioned ourselves after “The View” (only nicer) with conversation about design and blogging. Sometimes its just the three of us and sometimes we’ve invited other interesting people to join us. Since we began, we’ve been lucky to have hosted some of the biggest names in the design field today and these episodes have become something akin to a “masterclass” in interior design.

Greetings!

I hope your holidays were wonderful and your new year has started off with a bang. Did you make any New Year’s Resolutions? How are they going? Mine are actually going swimmingly, thank you very much! January has been a busy, busy month with the final touches being put on a fabulous little girl’s room and the start of a couple of fun new projects. More to come on all that.

My kitchen makeover, which I covered on my blog, was featured in the February 2011 issue of Country Woman magazine. The nice people at CW have generously allowed me to reprint the article in its entirety in these pages (Pg. 4). I hope you enjoy the details of this drab to fab makeover! I recently visited a wonderful shop in Hingham, MA called Beyond Gorgeosity which deals in vintage and antique furnishings and accessories. If mid-century modern is your thing, this is your place. (Pg. 9). BG sells online via 1st Dibs as well, so no worries if you’re not local!

Happy decorating!
