Michael Pietranczyk

Michael Pietranczyk, a native of Chicago, Illinois, was appointed Director of Music at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, Carmel, Indiana in January 2003. He has served numerous congregations as organist, choir director, handbell director and composer since age thirteen. He has devoted his life to working as a church musician and promoting the advancement of quality sacred music and the use of organ in worship. He received his training in organ and sacred music from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Florida State University, and Indiana University, where he also held the appointment of Associate Instructor of Organ. Mr. Pietranczyk conducts the OPPC Sanctuary Choir, Choral Bells, Bells of Praise, Treble Choir, Kinderchoir as well as serving as organist. Michael is also an inductee to the Phi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Lambda Music Honorary Society.
