_the problem
In 2010, the Annual Report of the Commission for Protection of At Risk Children and Youth (CPCJ) talks
about 68.300 children that were followed in Portugal.
Main problems diagnosed:
• Negligence (38.2%) • Exposure to models of deviant behaviour (18.7%)
The age group from 11 to 14 years recorded the highest number of cases of children and young people at risk (25%).
_the problem
Children and youth are living in neighborhoods with negative perspectives towards life.
Those contexts have lack of stimulation and positive role models where there are various risk factors which are feeding constantly a vicious cycle.
Delinquency, problems with the justice and low social perspectives are consequences!
Children and youth at risk can be future parents living in poor conditions with negative perspectives towards life, in a non-stimulant and an unstructured parental setting.
_competitive advantages
Be a unique intervention supported by a qualified and experienced team in the field of intervention with children and youth at risk
Develop an individual life plan with children and youth and actively involves the group of significant people in their lives (family, school, peers, etc.)
