OBJECTIVE
Being founding member of three law schools and working with the
leading legal luminaries including the judges of the Supreme Court
and the High Courts for more than eight years, I have equipped
myself with certain specific skills and experience, which might help
the newly established law school. I have also developed some amount
of expertise in designing good curricula for the institution. As a team
player I am able to integrate and adapt effective people, situations

Odisha. Currently there are 13 faculty members under
Department of Law. As HOD, (since December 2009), I take care
of general academic and administrative works and report to the
Vice-Chancellor.
Library In-Charge of the National Law University. Since
inception I happened to be In-Charge of the NLUO Library
where till now we have spent Rs. 5 Crore. My library is now
equipped with all the leading foreign law journals (All England
Reports, US Supreme Court Report, Australian Law Report,
American Journal of International Law, Harvard Law Review,
Law Quarterly Review, International Law Review to mention a

few), leading Indian Journals. Library is also having online
research databases like Westlaw, HeinOnline, Jstor, Manupatra,
AIR Online Database, Kluwer Arbitration International,

Advisor etc. I made an attempt to provide the students a
collection of standard books on the all the aspects of law. Today,
I take pride to rate our library at par with any National Law
University in India.
Chairman, Admission Committee for year 2012-2013. For initial
three years NLUO was not part of the CLAT and used to conduct
its own All India Entrance Test under my supervision.
Member of Executive Council of National Law University,
Odisha: Being the senior most faculty member I am member of
the Executive Council of the University, which is the highest and
most important administrative body under the National Law
University, Odisha Act, 2008. All the administrative, academic
matters including the appointment of Professors, Associate
Professors Assistant Professors and non-teaching positions are
done by this body.
Member of Academic Council of National Law University,
Odisha. As senior most faculty member and by virtue of being
Head, department of law, I am also part of the highest Academic
Body of the University under the NLUO Act, 2008. All the
academic decisions are taken by this body.

Provost (Chief Warden) of the NLUO Hostels (Both Boys and
Girls). As the Chief Warden I am also entrusted with the NLUO
Hostels, which accommodate total 600 students.
In-Charge of The Moot Society: The Moot Society (TMS) is one
of the most important and vibrant student body which manages
and promotes the mooting culture in the University. Every year
we organized Intra-University Moot Court Competition
(IUMCC) in order to select the teams, which represent university
in the various national and international moot court
competitions. As a faculty advisor we organized in our campus
“Stetson International Environmental Law Moot Court
Competition-Indian South Rounds” twice in year 2012 & 2013.
We in the year 2014 started our own National Maritime Law
Moot Court Competition which was organized from 21st March
to 23rd March 2014.
