The Suprema Control System offers thenew standard in fire and gas measuringtechnology.The Suprema System’s modularredundancy design provides adaptedflexibility to virtually any monitoringsystem and safety requirement.Designed around industrial 19” rackstandards, the Suprema System offerssignal processing for up-to 256 inputs andwill provide up-to 512 relay and 4-20mAoutputs.The Suprema System is compatible withall of the MSA fire and gas products;including the Ultima® X Series GasMonitors, the SafEye Open Path GasDetection System and the FlameGard®Flame Detector. In addition, the SupremaSystem accommodates a variety of third-party devices such as 4-20 mA outputsensors and heat and smoke sensors.The Suprema Control System’s modular,intelligent safety system is fieldconfigurable and provides a distributedbus technology ensuring fail-safe internaldata transfer.

The Suprema Control Systemprovides a tailor-made control systemensuring fit, form and function thatmeet individual safety needs. The newmodular system allows for I/O connec-tions to be mounted to the back plane orrail mounted and can be configured asdesired and adapted to meet each spe-cific monitoring task.The Suprema System is capable of con-trolling all system required functions,including inhibiting I/O, alarm-trippinganalog signals, handling I/O faults, man-aging voting allocation of status signalsand switched outputs, control of annun-ciation panels and other outputs devicessuch as fans and dampeners, along withinterfacing to other systems (HVAC, ESD,etc.) through digital buscommunications.The digital bus technology ensures reli-able communication between racks andallows for system flexibility with satellitemonitoring racks – up to 8 per system –to be located at distances up-to 1 mileapart. This provides the most flexibilityand ensures system wiring is minimizedand overall system costs are as low aspossible. The Suprema System also inter-faces to external bus systems such asModbus and Profibus.
