DEEPWORKS PRODUCTS
DeepWorks Engineer
Rapid use desktop simulation tool supporting proof of concept and
FEED studies for new engineering designs and catenary solutions.
With customisable Component Libraries and powerful Scenario
Creation and Replay capabilities, new ideas can be tried out and
validated in minutes. Eliminating unsatisfactory designs earlier in
the process saves time and money and builds confidence and
predictability in project deliverables.
Used for bid support, engineering design validation, operational
procedures validation, safety-case analysis, and generation of
marketing and promotional material.
Applications: Operational planning tasks such as cable lay
touchdown prediction, riser pull-in, remote installation and
recovery of equipment from moving vessels.
DeepWorks Engineer Live
Extends DeepWorks Engineer by incorporating live inputs from the
field including position updates from vessels, ROVs, cables and
other mobile assets.
An augmented reality subsea scene is created with multiple
viewpoints to improve ROV situation awareness during navigation
and to improve co-ordination between crane operators, deck
handling teams, bridge and emergency response teams based
onshore.
Drives simulations using live data or previously recorded data or
a blend of live and simulated data for better position predictions.
Applications: Live asset position monitoring, real-time field data
visualisation, re-playable audit trail of live operations and field data
for post-operations reviews.
4D Subsea engineering simulation and operational visualisation
DeepWorksTM: Complete Mission Simulation and Visualisation
DeepWorks ROV
Normally used with a real ROV console for pilot training either
onshore or offshore.
DeepWorks ROV provides additional ROV specific components for
unprecedented realism and includes five default scenarios for pilot
training.
Instructors can change environmental properties and simulate
electrical and hydraulic faults on the ROV to increase the level
of difficulty. Trainee performance is monitored and simulation
data and performance metrics are saved and made available for
external analysis.
DeepWorks ROV is also used as a subsea component prototyping
platform for advanced tooling.
Applications: ROV pilot training, tooling development, deployment
rehearsal.
DeepWorks ReplayViewer
Free 3D replay tools allowing client to open and playback previously
recorded simulation data with freedom to select camera viewpoint
and other playback options.
