I AM STILL IN FLORIDA?!I cannot believe it has been almost ayear since I packed up 4 boxes and2 suitcases and moved to Florida to

plant Shoreline Church.

It has been the most growing year of my life. Filled with trials,hardships, joys and celebrations. I am completely blessed that theLord called me down here. There have been plenty of momentswhere I wanted to give up and go home, yet I know that the Spirit ismoving here in South Florida. There is a movement and a

momentum and I cannot believe I get to be a part of this.

WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO?These past months have been overwhelmingly crazy for me. We hit the ground running. Whenpeople say church planting is a marathon not a sprint- I think they forgot to tell me to practicerunning before I got here:) When I moved here to be the kids director I had no idea I would also

add admin, student small group leader, college small group leader, and anything else anyoneneeded to the list of things to do. I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people, andgetting to speak into their lives has been life changing.

WHY AM I STAYING?I am staying because I can see what theLord is doing in this city, and I can seehow He is using me to do it. I can seefrom the college group I co-lead wherestudents come week after week andshare their stories with suchvulnerability. I can see from the

community that started with just me, tothe dozens of people that do game nightevery single week. I can see Him movingin the lives of the girls I meet with, I seeHim moving in the smiles on the kidsfaces as they raise their hands and worship. I am staying

because I cannot deny that the Spirit is at work here. I love Portland with every ounce of mybeing, but I know I am walking in His ways by staying here.

WHO IS SHORELINE?Together, as a team, we arecommitted to building achurch that doesnt settleinside the comfort of fourwalls but is active insupporting its community.

Shoreline Church -

Launched September 16th,

2012.

Our purpose is simple: Love God and love people. Ourpassion is for God and our passion is for people. Ourheart is for God and our heart is for people. There are

no hidden agendas.

This will be a church thats healthy; A church thatsstrong and united; The kind of church where people arethe priority; Where people feelaccepted and valued; Acommunity known by its loveand extreme generosity.

Momentum has been building and were seeing Gods favor. There arealready over 150 people who call Shoreline their church home.

We have been pro-active in serving local schools, neighborhoods, and

kids who are in need. Its alreadyclear not even a year here whyGod has sent us here.

WHY WEST PALM?Good question. Palm BeachCounty has 1.4 millionresidents. Of that number, 1.3million people have no

connection to God. Wed liketo change that!

Further studies revealed this is a community of young families andsingle moms; those with abundant wealth but are suicidal; those inextreme poverty and do not know where their next meal will comefrom.

We believe these 1.4 million people have the same thing incommon: each and every one of them need to experience the loveand hope of God that is found through Jesus.

MY HEARTOne of the reasons I loveShoreline so much, isbecause of the heart ofrelationships. I get to meetwith guys and girls week

after week, hear stories andlet the Spirit speak into theirlives. I get to hug littles and pray over themat such a young age.

I have got to see kids and adults alike getbaptized, worship, come alive in Jesus,awaken to who they are created to be, Ihave seen strongholds given up, andworthiness called out. I have been apart ofan amazing team and am so glad to beable to be on staff at Shoreline Church.

HAITII have had the amazing opportunity of havingamazing friends from Portland come visit me inWest Palm. Two of my visitors were Kyle andChristel Schlabach.

Ever sense the earthquakes in Haiti in 2010Kyle has been leading teams through Solid

Rock to help rebuild and build relationships. Ihave heard story after story of life change, of

amazing littles and community. The opportunityhas presented itself for me to join in with Solid Rock and be apart ofthe team going on June 21st-29th.I am so excited to be able to serve the people of Haiti and build

relationships with the people there. From cleaning to VBS, I simply

cannot wait to ask questions and know each persons story. I believe so much in giving

life back into the communities of Haiti, and doing this alongside Solid Rock is a blessing.

HELP SEND ME AND KEEP ME

GOING...This year has been hard for so many reasons andfinancially it has been the toughest year of my life.I have said goodbye to close friends, great jobs,

and an amazing home. When I moved fromPortland I left everything that I knew and all thatwas comfortable. I even gave up the security of aconsistent paycheck.

As a new church, there simply isnt the budget for a salary yet. I have gotten multiple jobs ontop of my Shoreline responsibilities but balancing everything has been difficult.

I wholeheartedly believe that God has called me to serve the Palm Beach community. Withoutfinancial support from others such as yourself, Shoreline would not be possible.

My trip to Haiti will cost $1,650 and my monthly needed budget is $2,000.

PLEASE PRAY.Prayer changes everything and moves the hand of God. Wouldyou commit to pray for me, Shorelines leadership team, andthe people of Palm Beach, and the trip to Haiti June 21st-29th?

Some specific things to pray for:

The trip to Haiti will be the first Sunday since Shoreline startedthat I will not be there- crazy yes, but please be praying overour serve team, and that everything flows so smoothly.My heart increases every day for the people of Shoreline,please pray for time to meet with ladies to hear their stories andallow them to feel seen, known, loved and valued.

I have been getting Spiritually attackedright and left in this season, and I need

strength to wake up every morning andfight the good fight.People to experience hope in Jesus.Please pray against all fear.For vision.For encounters with Jesus.Financial provision.Please pray that the people of WestPalm would have a hunger for theWord.My car decides to shake and rattleoften, as well as the ac just went out so

just for provision in that area.

Would you pray these verses overShoreline and the trip in Haiti.

Therefore if there is anyencouragement in Christ, if there is anyconsolation of love, if there is any

fellowship of the Spirit, if any affectationand compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaing the same love,united in spirit, intent on one purpose. -Philippians 2.1-2

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and toask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!I cannot begin to even express to you, what your support has been like over these pastmonths. From those in Portland and other states cheering me on, to the ones that join in onShoreline every week, I am blessed beyond words to be able to call you family, and mysupporters. I think no other woman has it better than I do.

Thank you for praying over me, speaking life to me, giving to me financially, sending me cards,and visiting. Thank you for shooting me encouraging emails, and phone calls.

I simply could not do this without you and I would refuse to.

You each mean so much to me, and getting to walk out life with you is a joy that I feel Paulsums up so well, I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with

joy in my every prayer for you. Philippians 1.3-4.

Please know that I pray for you often. That I pray over your community, your family, your kids. Ipray over big and small decisions. I want to walk out life with each of you my entire life, and Ihope you give me the opportunity to do that.

I would love nothing more than to receive an email back tellingme how you are an update on your life- because to me- that isthe most important thing. Yes, I need help and prayer, theSpirit may spur that in some of you- but what I want more thananything is to continue to know you.
