st ndOn 1 & 2 August, 2018 175+ delegates and 45+ speakers converged into Shangri-La Jakarta to learn from each other’s success stories, imbibe global best practice, identify technology and solutions partners for one common purpose ie; optimizing supply chains to increase business efficiencies, reduce logistics costs and enhance profitability.

The event witnessed engaging discussions on how to take supply chains to the next level using a judicious blend of supply chain expertise and combining it with latest technology offerings. True to the theme “Building Robust End to End Supply Chains” an eminent panel of speakers from organisations like Microsoft, IBM, DHL, SSISchaefer, JDA, Ramco, Bristlecone etc presented numerous successful case studies which brought forward the perspectives of users who had successfully applied these changes to transform their supply chains.

The speaker panel put a spotlight on technology solutions to build high efficiency supply chains using Block chain, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Telematics etc & shared their experiences and best practice in designing Smart Warehouses, Building Supply Chain Visibility, leveraging Big Data Analytics. Ramco as the Associate Sponsor helped build a sensitization on the new gen logistics ERP’s and how they were helping improve supply chain efficiencies. IBM shared insights into how one could mitigate supply chains risks by using blockchain.

There was a significant debate across sessions as to if technology will be able to totally replace the human factor keeping in mind the advent of machine learning, AI etc but the gathering was unanimous that whilst technology would take off substantial responsibilities from professionals in the current scenario but will free them to plan more futuristic strategies which can be done only by human expertise

Javin Bhinde, Founder & CEO of Syncore Group convened the proceedings of the conference over the two days and was very successful in building an interactive experience amongst speakers, delegates, exhibitors.
