Introduction
Together with its suppliers, Electrolux is continuously striving for more efficient and secure processes. This Instruction covers the process from invoicing to payment. The relevant requirements set out in this Electrolux Supplier Payment Instruction may be agreed with supplier and thus apply to the purchases undertaken by Electrolux.
The Instruction is currently limited to the purchases performed by the companies listed in Appendix 1.
Invoicing instructions
Information included on supplier invoices
In order to ensure processing, the invoice needs to include a minimum required level of information. All necessary information to be included in the invoice can be found in Appendix 2, Invoice Content.
If any of the mandatory information is missing or incorrect, Electrolux may, under the terms of the relevant agreement and/or applicable law, be entitled to reject the invoice and ask the supplier to provide a compliant invoice.
Invoicing method
Electrolux strongly recommends suppliers to invoice electronically, especially if the
number of invoices exceeds ten invoices per year.
Electronic invoicing:
The supplier can choose between EDI/WebEDI or other e-invoicing solution (for example Tungsten (former OB10, the service provider co-operating with Electrolux mainly for indirect material).
We do not consider invoices sent by email as electronic invoices.
In order to set up an electronic invoicing solution with Electrolux, please contact:
Suppliers that send electronic invoices to Electrolux are not permitted to send
additional invoices via post or email for the same invoice number.
For suppliers that send less than ten invoices a year, the electronic invoicing method
remains the preferred method of invoicing.
Some jurisdictions may require paper invoicing. In such exceptional cases of paper invoicing, the quality of the invoice should allow for easy recognition of all required information (not handwritten, no handwritten corrections). If these requirements are not met, Electrolux may, under the terms of the relevant agreement and/or applicable law, be entitled to reject the invoice and request that the supplier provides a compliant invoice.

Invoices sent via post or email must be sent directly to the addresses specified in
Appendix 4. Invoices sent to any other address (e.g. the factory) risk delay in
payment. Electrolux may, under the terms of the relevant agreement and/or
applicable law, be entitled to reject any invoice sent to any other address than those
specified in Appendix 4.
Charges
Charges that are not part of the contract should be invoiced separately. Electrolux may, under the terms of the relevant agreement and/or applicable law, be entitled to reject invoices including such non-agreed charges.
Payment information
Payment method
The preferred payment method for supplier payments from Electrolux, both domestic and
international, is electronic payments directly to the supplier´s bank account,
preferably with same day valuation.
Payment to supplier
Payment terms will be calculated based on invoice date, the arrival date of the invoice or the arrival date of the goods, depending on the agreement and/or applicable law. Typically, payments are performed on a weekly basis.
Payment charge
The payment instruction from Electrolux to the banks for charges related to international payments is shared (SHA). The definition implies that Electrolux takes the costs that occur in the originator bank and the supplier takes the costs of the beneficiary bank.

Strong recommendations regarding Direct Material, OEM and ODM
Suppliers (see definitions in Appendix 5) to simplify matching:
One invoice for materials/ services can refer only to one delivery
The whole delivery note number should be indicated on the invoice (to secure
smooth matching see the required fields on delivery notes below)
Each material/ service must refer to a Purchase Order (PO) and a PO line Raw
materials and packaging must be invoiced separately
One invoice for packaging may refer to one or more delivery notes. Invoices
for packaging must be issued at maximum on a weekly basis
Credit or debit notes must be issued per delivery (more delivery notes are
only acceptable in case of mass retroactive price adjustments CNs)
