Wiring Tube Clips After completion of “To Install Gas Log Set” Instructions on page 4 of installation instructions, position grate over Burner Assembly as shown in ( Figure 2 ). Position valve heat shield over valve making sure notch at bottom of shield is placed over valve mounting bracket ( Figure 3 ). Install 2 “D” Batterries into Battery pack and position pack on top of Control Module. Postion Module/Battery pack Heat Shield over both Items. ( Figure 4 ) Position Wiring Tube in back right leg Wiring Tube clip and close clip. ( Figure 5 ) Position wiring tube, white flame sensor wire and orange electrode wire in left leg wiring clip and close. ( Figure 6 ). After completion of “To Install Gas Log Set” Instructions on page 4 of installation instructions, position grate over Burner Assembly as shown in ( Figure 2 ). Positionvalve heat shield over valve making sure notch at bottom of shield is placed over valve mounting bracket ( Figure 3 ).

A. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the pilot. Do not light pilot by hand.

B. BEFORE LIGHTING smell all around the appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell next to the floor because some gas is heavier than air and will settle on the floor. WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:• Do not try to light any appliance• Do not touch any electrical switch:• Do not use any phone in your building.• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas

supplier’s instructions.C. Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service

technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of the gas control system which has been under water.

LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS ELEC. SPARK TO PILOTAfter installation is complete follow these steps to operate this burner assembly.

1. Turn “ON” main gas supply and check all fittings and connections for leaks with soap and water solution.

2. Turn Bark Switch to “ON” position. The Pilot electrode will spark, the Pilot will light and the burner will light .

NOTE: If Pilot will not light there may be air in line. If so,wait and repeat this step until Pilot Flame Lights

NOTE: If Wall Switch or Remote Control is used instead of Bark Switch, remove wires from Switch and connect to Wall Switch or Remote Receiver.

TO TURN OFF GAS TO APPLIANCE1. Turn Bark Switch to “OFF” position.
