Must be installedprior to installing AccuMark Family software. ______________________________________________________________________ Language Pack for .NET Framework (on non-English Supplemental Components CD)(Required for AccuMark Family 8.1 and above)If you would like to view .NET messages in your native language, install the languagepack. ______________________________________________________________________ Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) with SP3a (Optional)Non-SQL Server users: Installing MSDE allows you to work with AccuMark SQL/MSDEstorage areas. Access and create local and Networked SQL/MSDE storage areas(check with your IT department for appropriate network permissions/privileges).

• Windows NT Server 4.0-based PC users connecting from a Windows NT 4.0-based client computer using named pipes: install Windows NT 4.0 Patch for named pipes on server PC

If you install MSDE, it is recommended to install:

• Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8

• SQL Server Security Patch (see MS03-031 security bulletin)

• SVRNETCN.EXE - by default, network access to the MSDE database is

disabled. The SQL Server Network Utility program will enable other PCs toaccess the MSDE database over the network. Enable the "TCP/IP" and "NamedPipes" protocols

______________________________________________________________________ Microsoft SQL Server 2000 SP3a (Recommended for SQL Server)SQL Server users: SQL Server 2000 can access and create AccuMark SQL/MSDEstorage areas providing the adequate permissions have been assigned to users (seesql-server-accumark.doc for information on user setup).

Use it to create informational presentations or record

necessary steps when reporting hard to reproduce problems.

It is recommended to also install

• TSCC Codec V2.0.4 – allows you to create and view the best quality movie files(provides an additional compression/decompression component)
