EXT. MERRIWEATHER COLLEGE - MORNING

A large, plain school building stands in the distance on a cold, dark winters morning.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. COLLEGE HALLWAY - LOCKERS - MORNING

Within MerriWeather sixth form college, Jay, Mark and Josh *are stand talking by a row of lockers. Jay is on the far *left standing upright, Mark is in the middle placing *things in and out his locker, and Josh is on the far right *,leaning against the row of lockers and talking. *

Jay, a 17 year old boy walks over to two other, similar looking aged boys standing by a row of lockers.

JOSH Jay! Where were you yesterday?

Jay Trying to find you! Do you know what happened?

JOSH Not really. Something to do with the science block I think.

Mark pulls a book out of his locker, puts it in his bag, *zips it up, slams the locker door shut and swings one *strap over his shoulder. *

MARK * I think it was a gas leak but i'm not sure.

Josh's phone RINGS, He pulls the phone out his pocket and

JOSH (On the phone) Hello?

Mark * Couldn't you smell it?

JAY Yeah. I was just down the hall when everyone left.

JOSH (In the background on the phone) Yeah, i felt really light-headed too... Mark *PUTS THE OTHER STRAP OVER HIS SHOULDER.

I got to go too. Meet by the bikes? *

JOSH(Pauses to listen to friend on the phone) I feel better now... Yeah.

Jay Yeah, i got to go now too. *JAY WALKS OFF

JOSH (In the background on the phone) I don't know why. It's strange. * Mark * Josh! Meet at the bikes?

JOSH (Nods his head and starts walking off) I got to go, I got class... Yeah...bye. (Hangs up phone and puts it in his pocket whilst walking off)

CUTS TO: *Jay walking down an empty hallway. *

INT: EMPTY HALLWAY - MORNING *

An empty hallway with Jay walking down it. When ever there *is a window, he looks out of it. *

Jay walks a few steps down a empty hallway, then slows *down whilst looking through a window. *

A shot of an empty, frosty courtyard. *

Jay walking a few more steps down an empty hallway and *looking out of the next window. *

A boy sitting on a bench, alone, then staring at his hand. *His hand then starts flickering like a hologram *

Jay looking confused, then slowing down to a stop and *stare. *

The boy staring and waving his mostly transparent hand in *front of his face. *

*Jays mobile gets a text. * * * CUTS TO: *

TEACHER * (Voice Over) * You're late. Get to class! *

Jay puts the phone in his pocket. *
