WEEKLY MARKET RECAP March 28-April 04, 2019 Issue-35 SUNRISE MARKET PULSE NEPSE continued its upward momentum last week gaining 20.67 points. On the first trading day of the week NEPSE lost 0.94 points. On the first 30 minutes after the trading started, the index went up reaching 1148.93 points and then started to fall down making intra day low at 1139.51 points. The index recovered after 1:15 pm and finally closed at 1143.59 points. On the second and third trading days NEPSE gained 6.40 points 13.48 points respectively. On the forth trading day, NEPSE rapidly fell on the first 30 minutes reaching 1158.72 points (intraday low). The index then quickly recovered and went high up to 1172.40 points making intraday as well as weekly high. Afterwards, the index fell for about 30 minutes, bounced from 1164.14 points and closed at 1165.77. On the final trading day of the week, the index went down for first 45 minutes and bounced from 1160.91. The index made intraday high at 1169.87 points. The index started to fall on the last trading hour and finally closed at 1165.20 points. Technical Indicators Support and Resistance The technical chart suggests that the NEPSE is struggling to go past the resistance zone of 1160-1170. This region can be regarded as immediate resistance zone while immediate support zone for NEPSE is 1100-1110. 1100 can also be regarded as a psychological support for NEPSE. RSI NEPSEs RSI in the weeks closing is at 64. RSI indicates that the market is currently in neutral zone. The RSI on the preceding week was 54 points. Moving Averages The SMA 5 and SMA 20 are above SMA 50 indicating the short term bullish momentum. All the short term moving averages are below SMA 200 signifying that the long term trend of the market is still bearish. ADX +DI is above –DI suggesting that the market is in upward momentum. SUNRISE MARKET PULSE

NEPSE continued its upward momentum last week gaining 20.67 points. On the first trading day of the week NEPSE lost 0.94 points. On the first 30 minutes after the trading started, the index went up reaching 1148.93 points and then started to fall down making intra day low at 1139.51 points. The index recovered after 1:15 pm and finally closed at 1143.59 points. On the second and third trading days NEPSE gained 6.40 points 13.48 points respectively. On the forth trading day, NEPSE rapidly fell on the first 30 minutes reaching 1158.72 points (intraday low). Technical Indicators

NEPSE gained 1.81% last week closing at 1165.20.

Sensitive, Float and Sensitive Float Index all posted a

growth. Sensitive Index Float Index and Sensitive Float

index were up by 2.09%, 2.20% and 2.51% respectively.

Among nine sub indices, four indices posted a decline

while five indices witnessed a growth. Hydropower, Life

Insurance, Microfinance and Non Life Insurance indices

lost. Microfinance Index was the most to lose with 0.94%

decline. Among the gainers, Commercial Bank index

gained the most with 3.59 % growth. Development Bank

Index gained 0.70%.

The average volume per day on last trading week was

41.79 crores. Market capitalization at the end of the week

stood at 14.24 kharba. The market capitalization on the

last day of the preceding week was 13.93 kharba. The

investors gained 25 arba last week.
