United Methodist Women

• Circle meeting will be held Tuesday, September 10th at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall. The program will be Pledge Service presented by Sue Hilliard, Treasurer, and Sylvia Cooper has devotional.

• Friday, September 13th, we will provide snacks for The Hut.

• Saturday, September 21st, Southwest District Annual Meeting/ Day Apart, hosted by Friendship UMC in Donalsonville, GA. Registration starts at 9:00 am.

• Vashti Fund Raising: Dinner on the Bricks in Thomasville, Saturday, September 21st from 6-10 pm. If interested call Patsy Ford ASAP.

Announcements • The office will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in

observance of Labor Day.

• Family Night Supper will resume on Wednesday,

September 4th. If you would like permanent

reservations, please call the church office.

• We will have a combined worship service on Sunday,

September 22nd in the Sanctuary. The service will

start at 10:30am. Lunch will follow in the fellowship

hall.

YOUTH DEPARTMENT We will not be having MYF Sunday, September 1st

due to it being Labor Day Weekend

Small Groups will start back on Wednesday, September 4th.

If any parents would like to help serve supper with another parent at future MYF events, please let us know.

Children’s Department Children’s WATCH Program will start back on Wednesday, September 4th at 4:45pm. Children ages

3 and up are welcome to participate.

The Children’s Department will be giving Bibles to 3rd graders during the combined worship service on

Sunday, September 22nd.
