Sunday School Kits for LWR

(4) 70-sheet notebooks of wide or college-ruled paper (no loose leaf paper) (1) 30-centimeter ruler (1) pencil sharpener (1) pair of blunt scissors (5) unsharpened #2 pencils with erasers; (5) black or blue ballpoint pens (no gel ink) (1) box of 16 or 24 crayons (1) 2 ½” eraser

YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S MUSIC
It's that time of year to start up our children's and youth music at CLC! We are really hoping to expand what is available to our young people. To help figure out what interests there are, please do the following things:
1) If you are a 2nd through 5th Grader, sign up for Children's Bell Choir and/or Children's Choir! There is a sign-up sheet in the East Link. 2) If you are a 6th through 12th Grader, take a music survey sheet from the East Link, fill it out, and put it in Andrew Robinson's mailbox (by the Music Room). There are several options for things, and depending on numbers, we will try to figure out what we can begin! 3) If you are a parent of a Kindergartener or 1st Grader, fill out one the survey sheets about vocal or bell opportunities we may try to start.
To aid in figuring things out, please sign up for groups or complete survey sheets by Sunday September 4th.e
Children's Choir will begin on Sunday September 11th - 11:45 in the Music Room. Children's Bells will begin on Sunday September 18th - 11:45 in the Music Room. A September through December schedule will be provided at the first rehearsal.
Contact Andrew Robinson ([email protected] or 614-805-9494) if you have any questions. It is sure to be an exciting year of music at CLC!

God’s family gets to work: Join in
Trinity and Christ Lutheran Churches will again join together as the family of Christ for God’s Work, Our Hands day. On Sunday, September 18, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., our two churches will volunteer together, supporting several community activities. Church families are encouraged to join in as we move our faith beyond our church walls.
The afternoon begins with opening prayer and blessing in the foyer at Trinity. Immediate following the opening, our church families can participate in one of four community helping activities. Paul Schreiner from Project Neighbors will host a work session at Park Place, new affordable housing for homeless women at the former Sun Appliance building. Kairos volun-teer Tom Muchesko will host a Kairos cookie bake in the Trinity kitch-en. The Lutheran Deaconess Association will host a work day at their location on La Porte Avenue and Avalon Springs Health Campus will host Christ Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran musicians and singers for an afternoon of fellowship and song.
