Pentecost Sunday May 31st 10:00 a.m.
Holy Communion in the
Church Parking Lot
With the blessing of our Church Board, we want to try to
find a way to be together and share Holy Communion on
Pentecost Sunday. We have chosen to gather in the
church parking lot at 10:00 a.m.
We envision our gathering to go as follows:
• We will gather at 10:00 a.m. and all cars will be parked
to face the church building
• You will be asked to turn off your engine, roll down your
windows and stay in your vehicle, the communion service
should not last more than 30 minutes.
(hopefully it will not be a very hot morning)
• Everyone is asked to bring a medium size “cup” with
you to receive the Communion juice (Please, not too
small - we don’t want to risk any spills)
• The liturgy will be given to you, both through email, and
in paper copy that morning
• The bread and juice will be served to each parked car
(this is not a drive-through)
• We hope the weather will cooperate.
If it is raining, we will not have the service.
• Afterward, you are welcome to return home to view the
live-stream worship service that will begin at 11:00am

LET’S CELEBRATE!!! Unity Moravian’s 40th Anniversary

By that time surely we will have returned to our building. Our planning committee is currently Nancy Wonsavage, Kay Vance, Sharon Dailey and Dinah Howell. Anyone who would like to help or if you have ideas all are wel-come. Just let one of us know.
We need the following by June 1 if possible:
We would like to send “Save the Date” notices to our past members, their children and any of our children who have scattered to the 4 winds. If any of you are in touch with past members please send their contact information, names, address, phone num-ber, gmail etc. to : Nancy Wonsavage at [email protected]
If you have old directories, those would also be helpful. This is less urgent but you can start combing through your files when you have time. If you have photos or videos of past activities we would like to use them for a slideshow. If you will put your name on the back of the photo or label the video, we will return it. You can mail these items to the church or put them in a box that we will set up near the mailboxes. Thanks for your help.
