Dear Sisters and Brothers in the Lord, During the past month Rene Coady has been working diligently on our new parish website and we are excited to announce the release is now in place www.sspj.net. Parishioners and visitors to our parish will be able to find information about our parish ministries, stay up to date with current parish events and much more. This new site will help to grow our parish’s online presence. More and more people in our community are online and we want to be able to make connections with those around us so that we might reach them with news about us and God’s word. Our website will continue to be updated and evolve, so be sure to visit often. Also, be sure to check out our Facebook page too: @ssphilipjamesparish.exton
Stations of the Cross and Benediction this week: Wednesday, March 4 at 2:15 in the Church, Friday, March 6 at 2:15 in the Church and at 7 PM in Chapel.
LENT IS HERE. This year in addition to our two daily Masses and Stations of the Cross we will have a Solemn Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal leading up to and including the Solemnity of the Annunciation of Our Lord, March 25, nine months prior to Christmas. Father Michael Callaghan, Director of the National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, in Germantown section of Philadelphia, will be with us and preach each of these days. The Novena Prayers will be prayed at the 8:30 morning Mass, all of the weekend Masses, and again at a special evening Mass each day at 7 PM including Saturday and Sunday. Plan to be part of this wonderful opportunity to honor our Blessed Mother and her gift of the Miraculous Medal and pray for your special intentions during this opportunity of grace. I am also delighted that the Shepherds of the Holy Land will be with us during the Novena with their wonderful olive wood devotional items from the Holy Lands. The interest in these was sensational at the time of their last visit with us. Plan to keep March 17 to the 25 marked in your calendars so as to not miss this Spiritual opportunity. +jcd

Eucharistic Adoration - St. Mary’s Chapel
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament comes easily. Never feel worried if you find you have no thought at all while you are before the Blessed Sacrament. Never feel inadequate about being an adorer even if you have not developed a spirit of devotion, if you are numb, down and out, weakened by life. The all important factor is that you are before the Lord. Before Him who knows
you inside and out. He reads your innermost thoughts and He still loves you immensely. Imagine that! Saint John Vianney once compared adoration to spiritual sunbathing. You are taking in the warmth of the grace and love radiating from the Sacred Host. To be there for one hour every week, CALL Diane Pease at 610-363-9391.
Youth Group (YPC) Many thanks to our young people who
demonstrated such inclusion and enthusiasm in all the activi-
ties at our last meeting. Watch email for info on upcoming
Easter projects for 2 groups of children. Next meeting is
March 21 7:30-9:30 pm in the gym. New members from all
schools and faiths are always welcome. For info call Karen T.
610-363-1484.
