Refresh Summer Water Safety Rules
Help Those In NeedThere is an opportunity to help those in our community who are hungry. Harbor House in Thousand Oaks has a daily pick-up lunch program.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Harbor House changed its nightly meals program into a pick-up daily lunch program. They need 50 home-made lunches every day. (Please keep water bottles separate from the lunch.) You drop off the lunch packages to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 W. Avenida de los Arboles, Thousand Oaks, between 1-2 PM on your scheduled date. Clients of Harbor House will pick them up between 2-4 PM.

Gathering Space.

R C I AThe Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church is gearing up for a new year for all people inquiring into the Catholic Faith. RCIA is for all interested in the following:
= growing in their Faith
= preparing to receive Sacraments
= hearing more about the Catholic Faith
= finding out the whys and wherefores of Church teachings
= learning about the Word of God found in Scripture
Beginning September 14, we will meet online with Zoom meetings starting at 7pm. Our meeting code will be sent to you each week by email. We will let you know if it changes.

A great team came out on July 17 to help put up our canopies for the outdoor Masses and Sacraments. The adage of “many hands make light work” definitely applies. There were members of our Youth Ministry, parents from the Confirmation and Elementary Faith Formation programs, the Men’s Club, and the Knights of Columbus, all led by Monsignor Paul Albee and Efrain Hernandez.
