A Very Posh Christmas Party - December 23rd 7pm – 10pm Join us for a great night of fancy food, hilarious fun and presents for everyone. Cost is $10 per person or $15 per couple. Dress to the 9’s if you feel like it or come dressed in shorts and a t-shirt.
Parents - We need help filling positions for A Very Posh Christmas Party. We are looking for kitchen staff, waiters and greeters. Please contact Joshua if you would like to help. We are also collecting gift cards to give away as door prizes.
Christmas Decoration Donations Needed We are in need of Christmas decorations for our Christmas party.
Donations can be dropped off in the hallway over the next few weeks.

Christmas Play The Christmas Express kids musical will be Sunday, December 23rd at 10:30AM. Kids and adults participating in the program need to be here by 9AM for rehearsal.
Christmas Eve Service Our impromptu Reenacting of the Christmas story will be at 4PM, Christmas Eve.
Base Camp Today Hey kids! Join us this evening for Base Camp from 6 - 7:30 pm.

Youth Ministry Needs Christmas Decorations The youth are having A Very Posh Christmas Party on Dec. 23rd.. They need Christmas decorations for the Christmas party. Drop off donations in the hallway over the next few weeks.

If you are an Amazon shopper then please consider going to smile.amazon.com instead of going to amazon.com. Log in with your same user ID and password. Once logged in do a search for Kids Against Hunger for Tarrant County and when you order, a percentage of your purchase goes to KAH.

Poinsettias for the Altar - Last Sunday to Order Order poinsettias to remember a loved one or honor someone special in your life, and it’s a beautiful way to decorate the chancel for Christmas. Envelopes are located in the hallway and forms are available in the attendance pad in the sanctuary. Place completed forms in the offering plate on Sunday mornings. Poinsettias are $10 each and you get to take it home after Christmas.
During December, we will collect gifts and distribute them to various local charities. Look for a handout in the hallway for more info and a list of suggestions. Don’t spend a lot of time and money on the wrapping – just make sure it is plain and white. Bring the wrapped gift and place it under the tree in the sanctuary.
Graduate Recognition Celebrate accomplishments and recognize those who graduate this fall/winter in our January Monthly Newsletter. Send a picture, his/her name, degree, and the name of the school/university, to [email protected] or drop off a picture to the church office during regular business hours. If you have a loved one that graduated from early from high school, please let us know.
Register Early for 2019 Soccer Season and Save For ages K4 through 6th grade. Sign up early - by December 15th and save $10 on registration cost per child. Click here to learn more and/or register online or pick up a registration form in the SJA hallway. For paper forms, turn in the completed form to the front church office. Starting December 16th registration is at the regular price.
Parents night out will be December 14th from 5:30-9pm. Dinner will be served. We will decorate Christmas cookies and watch a Christmas movie while parents shop for Christmas gifts.

Carlos Romero Ministry A special offering will be received during December for Carlos Romero’s ministry in Guatemala. We have supported his family’s ministry for many years, and he communicated that some of his funding has been cut. Click here to read more about it in a letter Carlos sent.
To contribute, give through SJA and mark your offering Carlos Romero or HFN. You may deposit it in the offering plates.

2019 Altar Flower Calendar Reserve a Sunday for giving flowers as part of your birthday or anniversary celebration or remember someone special. The 2019 calendar is now up in the office. $40 is due at the time you sign up.
