Here are a few things to note: Our Church building has a loop system. A toilet can be found to the right at the back of the church. It has baby change facilies and disabled access. Please remember to switch your mobile phone to silent. Please join us for refreshments aſter the service. Wed love to meet you! If you are new to the church, do fill in one of our Welcomecards, which you will find at the back of the church. A prayer group meets to pray on the mezzanine half an hour before each service. Please feel free to join them. Children: During our All Age Service everyone is invited to parcipate together throughout the service. However if your child is geng restless and needs more space to run around in, please feel free to use our welcome area, where there is a small supply of toys. Quesons? Our wardens, Judith Moffat and Julie Graham are always happy to help if you have any quesons. If you have volunteered to set up, please can you arrive between 9:30 and 10am. If you are planning to help during the aſternoon, please can you arrive for 12pm. If you have not signed up, but would sll like to help, please arrive at either of the mes above. If anyone has a gazebo that we could borrow, please speak to Simon, Andy or Kate. Finally, do encourage your family, friends and neighbours to join us for what promises to be a memorable day and we look forward to seeing you there. Cornerstone/OpShop Sunday - 8th September Please join us for a very special service in church on Sunday 8 th September at 10:30am. Come and meet some of our amazing volunteers and hear their stories about volunteering with us. If you volunteer at Cornerstone/OpShop, please dont forget to wear your name badge during the service. Craſt Fair - 14th September Elim Community Church is hosng a craſt fair at St Pauls Church to showcase local talent and raise money for charity. There are sll a number of tables available to book (£10) if anyone is interested in selling hand-craſted items. Everyone else is welcome to aend on the day and browse! Further details from [email protected] Help with Op Shop We are looking for more volunteers to help in the Op Shop, especially on Tuesday and Friday aſternoons (currently we are having to close at 1pm due to lack of volunteers). For more informaon please speak to our Shops Manager, Andy Blake (01228 549796). Help with Intern House Our new interns arrive on 31st August and we need volunteers to help clean the house and dy the garden on Thursday 29th August at 7pm. If you can help please speak to Simon. Reusable Fair Trade Cups If you enjoy a cup of tea or coffee aſter the church services, why not buy a reusable cup to bring each week to save the churchs resources and to be more environmentally friendly? Cups will be available to purchase on the shop stall at the Community Fun Day. Church News Congratulaons to Sam and Selina Harper on the birth of their first child Horao Alexander, who was born on the 12th August (a new grandson for Tim and Kathy Harper). Congratulaons also to Andy Walford and Kate Lim on their recent engagement.
