This Sun eclipse phenomena increased citizens awareness towards astronomy. All across Lithuania people observed ecplipse in various ways and methods. They gathered in towns squares and streets, where the telescopes were installed. People waited in a queue to have a chance observe the Sun.
Our project team also was activelly involved in observation. We observed eclipse trough the telescopes and also used our own method- the glass of welder‘s glass. Suprisingly, we were amazed by the quality of this method. Many people from the crowd wanted to try such kind of observation.
