Unified Improvement Plans: All Summit Extended Learning and Summit Engaged services, activi-
ties and projects are to be aligned with each school’s UIP and the District UIP. It is important that
Summit Facilitators/Staff meet regularly with school administration/staff to ensure that their Sum-
mit program is aligned with each school’s
UIP. The Summit programs, Extended Day
Learning and Summit Engaged, should be
documented in the school’s UIP plan.

Extended Day Learning: As part of the Summit Extended
Day Learning Program at Northridge High School, the stu-
dents participate in the Chess Club and Guided Homework
Support. In the Chess Club, the students learn how to be a
master at chess (or just play and have fun). They will be tak-
ing a field trip to state competitions in Denver on February
17th and 18th. In the Guided Homework Support class, the
student have a nice quiet place to get your homework and
school work done with certified teachers there to help.
Coming Soon: Our next Site Facilitator will be held on Monday, February
27, at 4:45pm. We will meet at the Administration Building, in Lower Level
Room B. Topics: UIP’s and surveys needed done for Summit programs.
