Summit Homes NZ emerged from Summit Building Services which was established by Tony Clark in 1986. Tony qualified in 1985 and has a Trade Certificate in building, he is a registered member of the Registered Master Builders Federation and also a registered estimator and loss adjuster for the Earthquake Commission and Registered Building Practitioner.
Tony and his qualified team have an extensive building background and have been involved in all aspects of building for a wide range of projects including homes, businesses, schools and factories such as NZ Steel, AHI Recycle Glass and Quality Bakers. He has a passion for renovations including modernisation programmes and healthy home conversions.
The Summit Homes division was established when Tony and Melissa Clark saw an opportunity in the market, during a challenging economic climate to provide customers with more affordable housing. Having designed and built over 300 homes including six for himself, Tony knew he could provide top quality housing, using top quality products, eliminating the expenses involved that building with franchises incurs, therefore passing on savings to the client. He also knew that he could deliver a stress-free process offering many options to the customer that most housing companies are not able to do including FREE internal plan changes* all while sticking to the budget and finishing the project on time!
