Colours:

I used my Catona 109-pack with 10 g balls. You can see pictures in my blog

www.diwybytitti.wordpress.com if you want to use the same colours. The last row of each

hexagon is made with white yarn and so is the joining.

Hexagon:

I cut the yarn and weave in the ends when I´m changing colour.

Ch4, join o a ring with a sl st.

Ch3, 11dc around the ring =12dc, end with 1 sl st in the third ch.

Ch1, 1sc, Ch3, *1sc, ch3*, repeat ** 10 more times = 12 lb. End with a sl st in the first sc.

Joining

The hexagones are joined with sc from the right side. Place the hexagones as the picture

shows.

Start with the hexagones having one other hexagon at each side around them, crochet around

the heaxagon as you are joining one nex hexagon at each side.

1 sc in the lp at the corner of the center hexagone and the hexagone you are adding (in the

joining you crochet through both hexagons from the rigt side), 1sc in each st along the sides

of the two hexagons, 1sc in the lp.

Now we are adding the next hexagon. 1sc in the same lp of the center hexagon and the new

hexagon, 1sc in each st along the side of the two hexagons, 1sc in the next lp. Keep on like

this until you added all 6 hexagons.

Work from the center hexagon and out to join the other hexagons.

When you have joined enough hexagons you must fold the bag together so you can join the

sides and corners.

Edge

White yarn:

1. Start in a lp in the top of one hexagon *1sc in the lp, 1sc in each of the next 7 st, 4hdc, 4dc,

1tr, tr3tog (in the lp, in the join seem and in the next lp), 1tr, 4dc, 4hdc, 7sc*. Repeat ** and

end the row with a sl st in the first sc.

2. Ch1, *4sc, 6hdc, 4dc, 2tr, tr3tog, 2tr, 4dc, 6hdc, 3sc*. Repeat ** and end with a sl st in the

first sc.

3. Ch1, *4sc, 6hdc, 5dc, dc3tog, 5dc, 6hdc, 3sc*. Repeat**. Cut the yarn and weave in the

ends

Handles

My handles are approximately 21 cm. You can adjust the amount of dc:s to fit your handles. I

made 54dc, crochet back and forth in 4 rows. Make sure the dc:s are in the middle of the side

of the bag. Fold the flap and sew in at the inside of the bag.

Lining:

If you want to you can also add some lining. It makes the bag even more beautiful and more

stabil. Cut two pieces in the same size as the bag plus seam allowance. Sew the pieces

together from the wrong side. Fold the upper side and sew it into the bag with slip stitches.
