Your future path leads to the Pacific Coast,
America’s gateway to Asia-Pacific and a
melting pot of East-West cultures. Week one
begins at Dominican University (est. 1890)
in the leafy suburbs of San Francisco. We’ll
quickly settle into this small, atmospheric
campus before setting out to enjoy those
classic California vibes.
Our tour of San Francisco includes stopovers
at iconic sites including Golden Gate
Bridge and Alcatraz Island. We’ll also visit
internationally ranked research universities,
Stanford and UC Berkeley, along with several
other well-reputed colleges.
After a week of life on a cozy campus, we’ll
segue to the big-city lights of Los Angeles for
a week at week at University of California Los
Angeles (UCLA, est. 1919). Ranked the number-
one public university in the U.S. by U.S. News
Best Colleges, UCLA is a beacon of higher
education in the US, and a top choice for
college-bound students in Asia.
UCLA’s large campus will give you a feel for
life at a major public school in the U.S. Of
course, we’ll make time for the must-sees of
LA, including the iconic “Hollywood” sign, the
Hollywood Walk of Fame and a driving tour of
local celebrity mansions. You’ll also visit the
University of Southern California, California
State University and a few others.

(Mid-West Program)University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio & Loyola University, Chicago, IllinoisSession 1: the 20th of June – 4th of July, 2019Session 2: the 11th – 25th of July, 2019
Follow your path to the expansive American
heartland, where well-planned universities
are often the culture epicenter of their local
communities. This is the real “college town”
experience – of the sort seen in countless
Hollywood productions.
In towns where local life revolves around
the university campus, events like American
football games, annual Homecoming
festivities, formal dances and graduation
ceremonies take center stage. These events
will be highlights of your future college life
– and you’ll get a taste of that experience
during this two-week experience.
During the first week, we’ll be based at the
University of Dayton(est.1850 ) in Dayton,
OH. This university is known for its thriving
engineering program, strong community-
service initiatives and a roaring on-campus
life. We’ll participate in the highlights of
Americana (including a Minor League
baseball game).
On the way to Chicago for week two, we’ll
stop off at important regional universities
– Notre Dame, Purdue and others. Next is a
week on the picturesque campus of Loyola
University (est. 1870) on Lake Michigan. This
medium-sized university is only a short drive
from downtown Chicago. We’ll take time to
explore the sites, visit the top of Willis Tower
and, of course, dive into some deep-dish
pizza. It tastes better here than anywhere
else in the world!

Follow your future path to Georgetown
University (est. 1789) in U.S. capital –
Washington, D.C. Once you’re settled into
campus life, we’ll embark on a tour of the
nation’s capital, visiting iconic sites including
the White House, the Capitol Building,
Washington Monument and the adjoining
Washington Mall.
While based at Georgetown, you’ll also visit
other icons of higher education in the area.
John Hopkins University, American University
and George Washington University are all on
the itinerary.
We’ll visit other colleges along the way.
For the second week, we’ll continue on
to New York City stopping off at a few
universities along the way. Our base of
operations will be St John’s University (est.
1870), and once everyone has settled into the
dorms, it’s time to explore the cultural capital
of the Eastern Seaboard. We’ll start with
the major highlights, including the Statue of
Liberty, the World Bank and One World Trade
Center.
