INTRODUCTION Nepal Airlines was established in 1958 as Royal Nepal Airlines

Corporation. At the beginning it’s services are limited to Simara, Pokhara, Biratnagar

and India cities. In 1961, aircraft joined the fleet, and in 1963 12 seated Chinese Fong

Shou-2 Harvesters were brought into services, opening up the kingdom’s more remote routes.

Until 1951, only a few foreigners had penetrated into Nepal. They were mainly British officers of the Gurkha troops, a few stray scholars and friends of the Royal family.

Nepal Airlines Corporation consist of 2500 staff. It provides the services like ground service economic class, Business

class reservations, carryon Baggage, bon appetite etc. and aircraft services travelling from one place to another.

OBJECTIVES

To provide general information about the overall HRM polices of the Nepal Airlines Corporation.

To collect and to analyze about the trend of Human Resource Polices data and design served by the Nepal Airlines.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design This study is based on descriptive research design as well as

qualitative and quantitative in nature. Introduction to Study area The study is based on NAC Building, Kantipath, Kathmandu.

Human Resource Policy and its service sector will be used for study.

Tools and Instrumentation of data collection Interview schedule is used for data collection, some qualitative

and quantitative questions will be included in interview schedule. Data Collection Procedure Researcher(I) was visited directly to the study area and describe

about the purpose of the study and collect the necessary data and information.

These plans are made by tie up with business plan or overall corporate plan. These plans are made by combined effort of middle level and upper level management. Then it is approved by Broad of Directors.

4.6 DIFFICULTIES OF HR DEPARTMENT IN NAC

There is multidimensional nature of jobs in Nepal Airlines Corporation like pilot, co-pilot, driver, airhostess, engineer etc. it is difficult to handle all of them.

Difficulties in managing different sector and different nature of jobs to work together.

Managing conflict of interest within the staff. Managing multidimensional nature of work is difficult.

SUMMARY

Introduction to the airlines history and the topic on the Human Resource Polices with its strength, limitations, objective, problems etc. Deals with the theoretical and empirical literature related to the topic which is taken from the different study areas.collected data are analysed and presented in the pie chart with data table. It is consist of numerical data and figures with theoretical perspective of NAC.Nepal Airlines Corporation consist of 2500 staff.

It provides the services like ground service economic class, Business class reservations, carryon Baggage, bon appetite etc. and aircraft services travelling from one place to another. It is conclude from the observed data analysis of above data that ratios control the major human resource polices NAC.Boeing 727 and Boeing 757 are the only international aircraft of the Nepal Airlines Corporations which is held in 1972 and 1987 for the international aircraft services.

RECOMMODATION OR SUGGESTION

Nepal Airlines should increase their flight destination to different countries.There should be the secure flight as different flight accidents are happening.Nepal airlines should increase their domestic airport as there are only 25 destination present.Nepal airlines should increase their quality standard in provind service.Number of planes should be increased as there are few planes working properly.Nepal Airlines Corporation is dedicated organization as it provides air service, so it should be pure and free from corruption.
