KIDZ KAMPGrades K & 1

MissionKidz Kamp is a special edition of the Camp Foster program and is designed to gently introduce our youngest day campers to camp. Kidz Kampers will receive an increased level of supervision and guidance to ensure their safety and a positive transition to the overall camp program. Their day will be structured with their endurance level in mind giving them the opportunity to take a break from the summer heat as needed, and even take a nap if necessary.

Age RestrictionsKidz Kamp registration is open to boys and girls entering grades K or 1 for the 2019/2020 school year. Weekly registration is limited to 55 Kidz Kampers.

Kidz Kamp ProgramDifferent than our Camp Foster program, Kidz Kampers will spend each morning at our Union Street Clubhouse under the supervision of our school-year Kids Club Program Director, Wendy Allen and staff. Kidz Kampers will have the air-conditioned Union Street Clubhouse for their dedicated use, as well as the Clubhouse playground and field space. A 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio will allow for staff to provide constant supervision to campers. In addition, each morning our counselors-in-training will work with our Kidz Kampers in all of the program areas. At 11:45 each morning, Kidz Kampers will load the bus and head to our Camp Foster facility where they will meet in a dedicated group area for lunch and program announcements. Kidz Kampers will have use of the swimming pool for lessons and free swim, and will enjoy regular camp program areas under the close supervision of their counselors.
