Registration & Membership:
Membership:
SEESA Memberships are available for people 55 years of age and older for $30 per calendar
year (January - December). Associate Membership for people under 55 years of age may be
granted with conditions (see Front Desk for details)
If you have a valid membership to another Edmonton seniors centre, you are welcome to register
in our instructional courses at our member rate. SEESA Memberships are required to participate
in drop-in club activities. SEESA members receive priority at time of class registration. Non-
SEESA members may be put on a waiting list at the time of registration for up to one week before
the start of class. Non-SEESA members and Associate Members may be bumped to give priority
to SEESA members.
Class Registration:
Register early to receive the Early Bird Fee which is $10 off the Regular Fee. If you register on
the day the class starts the Regular Fee will apply. We accept cash, cheques or use your debit
card, Visa or Mastercard with a minimum purchase of $30. You are not registered until you pay.
Please register in person at the SEESA Front Desk during office hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:30 am - 8:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, &
Saturday* 9 am - noon *closed between Victoria Day and Labour Day inclusive
Registration by telephone is accepted with Visa or Credit Card the day after in-person registration
begins. Telephone transactions are subject to a non-refundable $2 service charge.
Pre-registration (prior to Registration Event) will be accepted by using the form at the back of this
guide. Payments will be processed in order that they were received after the initial Registration
Day event is over. Please note: there is no guarantee of placement for pre-registration.
Classes may be cancelled or altered if minimums are not met. Participants will be called if a
class is cancelled and fees collected at the time of registration will be fully refunded. If the
Activity Liaison or instructor cancels in the event of bad weather or illness every attempt will be
made to notify participants with as much notice as possible. Your use of MySeniorCenter will
assist us with this task.
NO REFUNDS will be given to any participant who withdraws from a program of their own volition.
Check individual listings for Drop In availability. Drop In for classes may be allowed if space is
available. Check with the Front Desk BEFORE heading to the class.
Liability:
SEESA is not responsible for any physical injuries that may occur during any of its programs. All
participants (including cross registrations and visitors) must sign a waiver form and provide
emergency contact information. Participants must be able to independently participate in the class
unless they bring their own caregivers. Caregivers do not need to pay for the class if they are
providing assistance to a participant and not participating themselves.
Club Fees:
Some clubs have an extra fee to help to offset the cost of equipment replacement and upkeep, choir
sheet music, prizes and photocopies. This is in addition to the Drop In usage fee.
Please note: this guide was accurate at the time of printing; however, things do change from time to
time. Watch the on-line publication for the most up-to-date information.

acuity remains sharp! This and the personal and social connection within the group provides for
the best entertainment there is! New learners are welcome, and chess "masters" are challenged
here. Come and visit us and check this out! For more information please call Johan 780-462-

Duplicate Bridge Wednesday 6:15– 9:30 pm Bonnie Doon Room Fee: $2 Drop In Activity Liaison: Bev & Ken Hadlington
Duplicate bridge is called duplicate because the same bridge hand (i.e. arrangement of cards) is duplicated at other tables, in order to allow a fair comparison of playing skill and reduce "luck of the cards". In this way, every hand, whether good or bad, is played in competition with others playing the identical cards, and the element of skill is heightened whilst that of chance is reduced. (source: wikipedia.org)
Newcomers and beginners welcome. Partners are encouraged, but if you do not have one please contact the Activity Liaison who may be able to pair you up with another player.

It is strongly recommended, for personal safety reasons, that all PickleBall Club members purchase and wear safety glasses designed for racquet sports. These goggles are available for purchase at United Cycle ( or any sporting goods store) with prices starting at $24.99.

take home and return them when finished. The Library Committee meets Monday mornings to
reorganize the books that have been returned. They ask that all returned materials be placed on
