Steam Lego Challenge Gr K-2 & 3-5 Follow the instructions each day to take on a new challenge. The only rule is to have fun and use your imagination. Students will have the chance to become NASA scientists building their own rockets out of legos, engineers who build roller coasters, or set designers for a new Star Wars movie. STEAM Gr. 3-5 Students will create, invent, tinker and explore as they learn. Both DIY and group activities will be experienced. Problem solving, creativity and critical thinking will be emphasized. Summer Olympics Gr. 2-5 Welcome to the Summer Olympics! Students will represent different countries in various physical events including an Olympic Torch relay race, and other Olympic-based events. Students will also create international crafts. The last day will conclude with closing ceremonies! Summer Crafts Gr. K-2 This class allows children to tap into their inner artist. They will work on a variety of projects, including decorating flip flops, door hangers, picture frames, flower pots, rock pets, dream catchers and more. They will put their own personal touches on these arts and crafts and bring home cool projects they are proud of. Super Science Gr. K-2 What is the inside of the Earth like? Where do rainbows come from? Young scientists will discover the answers to many questions. This course is filled with many activities and experiments that are designed to encourage curiosity. Each day, your child will explore a different scientific concept as they hypothesize, mix, pour, compare, and observe.

Super Science 2 Gr. K-2 Why do some objects float while others sink? Can we change the color of a flower? Can we use a magnet to make a paperclip float? This course is designed to work with the original Super Science class. This course can be taken before, after, or in conjunction with Super Science. Tennis Gr. K-2 & 3-5 Learn the FUNdamentals of tennis. This course will include practice in forehand and backhand strokes and introduction to the game’s rules. Under the Sea Gr. K-2 Students will become immersed in Ocean Life. They will read engaging books, watch real-life videos and work on creative, hands-on

projects. We will discuss a variety of sea creatures including whales, dolphins,

octopuses, and squid. We will also

learn about coral reefs and the animals that live in them. By the end of the course, students will have a new appreciation for the ocean. Up, Up & Away Gr. K-2 What makes an airplane fly? How does a space ship stay in orbit? Why does a balloon float in the air? Come and find out!!! When children transform a two dimensional piece of paper into a three dimensional flying machine it is not only magical, but it’s a unique exercise in spatial reasoning. Beyond folding paper planes, they will also learn about the forces of flight and create various helicopters, parachutes, rockets and gliders to test their new found knowledge.

Wacky Water Adventures Gr. 3-5 End the day with lots of water and fun! Water games such as sprinkler tag, water balloon relays and slip and slide kickball will be included. Bubbles, sponges and water gun bowling are just a few of the activities we will be doing. Pack a towel, and a bathing suit, or a change of clothes. We are going to get soaked!

Weather Reporters Gr. 3-5 Become a junior meteorologist and discover how hurricanes, thunderstorms, and tornadoes form. Investigate how weather is predicted and measured. Fun arts and crafts projects and hands-on experiments will back up the findings. Woodworking Gr. K-2 & 3-5 Students will build a variety of projects out of wood including bird houses, stools and pencil boxes. They will then decorate their projects with paint and other objects. Most of the wood we will be working with will be repurposed from wood pallets.
