ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMPS

The Town of Drayton Valley’s summer camps are designed to

keep youth active and engaged throughout the summer. Each

week focuses on a specific theme and features presentations,

hands-on activities, and an out of town field trip.

Out of town field trips include, but are subject to change:

Wild Child: Edmonton Nature Park

Food Fanatic: U-Pick & Farm

Fit & Fun: Tri-Leisure Center, Spruce Grove

Awesome Art: Whitecourt Rotary Park

Mad Scientist: Telus World of Science

Outdoor Explorer: Crimson Lake Provincial Park

**Field trip passes and transportation are included in the

registration fee.

HOW TO REGISTER

Registration forms are available at the Town Civic Centre, Omniplex, Park Valley Pool, or can be sent

via email by contacting [email protected]. Forms can be returned to either

location or emailed to [email protected]. Registrations will be accepted as

of May 15, 2015. Your child’s spot will be held once payment is received. Registrations will be

accepted until two weeks before the start date of each camp (subject to spot availability).

WILD CHILD Explore the great outdoors and connect with nature! JULY 20-23 8:30 - 4:30 6 - 9 $120

FOOD FANATIC Learn about nutrition, growing your own food, and creative cooking! JULY 6-9 8:30 - 4:30 10 - 13 $120

FIT & FUN Participate in a variety of recreational activities and stay active this summer! AUG 10-13 8:30 - 4:30 6 - 9 $120

AWESOME ART Discover your creativity and learn from local professionals! AUG 4-7 8:30 - 4:30 10 - 13 $120

MAD SCIENTIST Discover the world around you through hands-on experiments! July 13-16 8:30- 4:30 6 - 9 $120

OUTDOOR EXPLORER Get active and outdoors this summer! July 27-30 8:30 - 4:30 10 - 13 $120

All summer camps will be based out of the Drayton Valley Omniplex Curling Lounge. Local field trips and one out of town theme-based field trip will take place each week. Participants are required to bring their own lunch/snack.
