BAND CAMPSBand Enrichment CampJune 19-23 • 9:00am – 12:00pm5th – 8th gradeCost: $90Camp is open to all incoming 5th-8th grade students who have completed at least one year of school band. Led by St. Michael Band Director Dr. Kevin “Doc” Andry, this camp will focus on small and large ensemble work, musicianship, theory, and beginning jazz improvisation. Students are to bring their instruments. Sheet music will be provided. Students will receive a camp t-shirt. Camp will conclude on Friday with a casual concert at 11:30am for parents, grandparents, and friends followed by a pizza party.

JAZZ CAMPJune 5-9 • 9:00am – 2:00pm5th – 12th gradeCost: $150Camp is open to all incoming 5th -12th grade students who have completed at least one year of school band. Led by St. Michael Band Director Dr. Kevin “Doc” Andry and Andy Pizzo, this camp will focus on musical and personal growth in combo work by working to improve the student’s ability to play the melodies of various types of tunes well, both individually and as an ensemble; improvising overchord changes maintaining their place in the form of the piece; and expressing themselves in the group context effectively and emotionally. Students will get to work in smaller combos where they can be placed according to prior experience. All wind instruments, bass, piano, guitar, and drummers are encouraged to attend. Campers will perform a casual concert at the end of Friday’s session for parents, grandparents, and friends. Please note that a minimum of12 students must be registered by May 15 in order for this camp to run effectively. If the camp has to be cancelled, you will be reimbursed your registration fee.

PERCUSSION CAMPJune 19-23 • 12:30pm – 2:30pm5th – 8th gradeCost: $90Camp is open to all incoming 5th -8th grade students who have completed at least one year of school band. Led by St. Michael Band Director Dr. Kevin “Doc” Andry and selected members from the St. Michael drum line, this camp will focus on technique, chops building exercises, rudiments, reading, mallet work, and ensemble music. Students will be using high school marching band equipment and will NOT need to bring personal drums. Students will receive a camp t-shirt and a pair of Vic Firth Corpsmaster Series drum sticks. Campers will perform a casual concert at 11:30am on Friday for parents, grandparents, and friends followed by a pizza party. Enrollment is limited to 15 drummers.

BASEBALL CAMPLearn hitting, pitching, and fielding from St. Michael Head Baseball Coach Johnny Bernhard, assistant coaches and current players. This camp features instruction on the fundamentals as well as base running techniques.

BOYS BASKETBALL CAMPCampers will learn basketball fundamentals and how to apply these fundamentals in a game situation from Head Basketball Coach Drew Hart. Participants will learn in a disciplined, enthusiastic, and highly organized atmosphere and gain confidence through motivation, competition, and contests. The camp will focus on developing the following skills: passing and ball handling skills; offensive moves (triple threat, cuts, screening, post moves); shooting; rebounding fundamentals; man-to-man defensive fundamentals; learning to work together as a team; and being disciplined and motivated to become a better basketball player.

Spots are also available for players who will be in 7th and 8th grade in the 2017-18 school year. Players will receive a “Warrior Elite” Under Armour jersey. All teams are coached by Head Basketball Coach Drew Hart. You must email Coach Hart at [email protected] to reserve a spot.

This camp is led by St. Michael Head Football Coach Justin Hutchinson, assistant coaches, and current players. The camp covers offense, defense, and special teams to prepare players for their upcoming season. Come out and make new friends while improving your football fundamentals.

VOLLEYBALL CAMPCamp will feature basic fundamentals development, introduction to advanced skills and strategy, and tournament style play. This camp is led by St. Michael Head Volleyball Coach Rob Smith, former collegiate players, and members of the Warrior volleyball team.
