Sunday, June 18 – Camper 101Get familiar with our campus and fellow campers by sitting around the campfire and enjoying a sweet treat and boisterous laughter in Greer Patio! THIS EVENT IS FOR RESIDENT CAMPERS ONLY.

Monday, June 19 – Counselor FolliesCheer on the counselors and get to know them better as they strut their stuff singing, dancing, and having good ol’ fashioned camp fun.

Tuesday, June 20 – S’Mores at the BeachWarm up by the fire, dip your toes in the cold ocean, munch down on hot s’mores, and sing-along with your friends as we spend the evening at the beautiful Carmel Beach! Don’t forget to bundle up!

Wednesday, June 21 – Director’s Choice“Directors Choice” is the name of the game! In the evening, our Camp Director Julie Forrest has a fun surprise picked out for us! Can anyone guess what this epic surprise may be?

Thursday, June 22 – Checks vs. Stripes - Water WarsThe Checks and Stripes meet once again on the competition field! Each team’s skills is tested and scored in a series of surprising water events! Get ready to get wet and leave the fancy clothes at home!

Friday, June 23 – Luau DanceAloha! Come dance with all of your new camp hoaloha, the Hawaiian word for friends, at the Luau Dance!

Saturday, June 24 – Great America and Big/Little Sister Spa NightHave a day filled with fun and thrills at San Jose’s Great America amusement park. In the evening, we wind down by kicking up our feet and relaxing with our big and little sisters to do facemasks and paint our nails in our dorm spa!

Sunday, June 25 – Fisherman’s Wharf and Camper’s ChoiceEnjoy an afternoon of shopping and strolling with friends at Fisherman’s Wharf. Check out some of the local scene and entertainment that Monterey has to offer! Later in the evening, the choice is yours as to which activity you would like to participate in!

Monday, June 26 – Totter PartyOur Tide and Otter Group work together to plan and decorate their very own party! ‘Big sisters’ are cordially invited to an evening with their camp ‘little sisters’ in the Thompson Lounge.

Tuesday, June 27 – Farmers’ MarketIn the evening, explore Monterey’s Farmers’ Market filled with tasty food stalls, street performers, and unique stands that have everything from clothing to carrots.

Wednesday, June 28 – Checks vs. Stripes - Freeze Tag Freeze, you’re it or not...! Will the Checks or the Stripes be the champions of this giant and crazy game of freeze tag?

Thursday, June 29 – Camp Loves Me JarsBring your imagination and fill your camp jars with memories, email addresses, and thoughts on your summer friends. You can remember camp all year-round, all around the world! DAY CAMPERS JOIN US AS OUR GUESTS.

Friday, June 30 - Horse Show The horse show is at Pebble Beach Equestrian Center for all campers enrolled in our riding program. The show is from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PARENTS OF CAMPERS ENROLLED IN HORSEBACK RIDING ARE WELCOME TO COME TO THE HORSE SHOW.

Friday, June 30 - Award NightDress to impress as we say our goodbyes to long-time campers, celebrate our camp friendships, and recognize those that have gone the extra mile for sisterhood and community. THIS INCLUDES DINNER AND IS A DAY AND RESIDENT CAMPER ONLY EVENT. DAY CAMPERS JOIN US AS OUR GUESTS.

Saturday, July 1 – Closing Day for 2-Week Campers and 5-Week Camper SurpriseClosing performances and reception for our 2-week campers and their families begin at 10:00 a.m. and wrap up around 12:00 p.m. Say goodbye to our 2-week campers and remember how much fun we have had so far. Let the party continue with a 5-week camper surprise!

Tuesday, July 4 – 4th of July Parade and CarnivalTo celebrate America’s independence, we are marching down Alvarado Street in Monterey’s 4th of July Parade. Back on campus, we continue celebrating with a camp-wide carnival complete with a cake walk, face painting, and lots of games! Wednesday, July 5 – Granny BingoThe famous camp tradition of Granny Bingo lives on! Bring your canes, visors, house coats, and half glasses for an evening filled with Bingo and snacks—Summer at Santa Catalina-style.

Thursday, July 6 – Checks vs. Stripes - Olympic GamesCampers show off their national pride rocking their home country’s colors for the Checks vs. Stripes Olympics! To kick off the traditional Check v. Stripes competition, campers are tested in multiple Olympic-styled events!

Friday, July 7 – Monarch DanceOur Monarch Group plans and decorates for our fun-filled camp dance. Dress your best and don’t worry about the rest! Theme and details are TBA!

Saturday, July 8 – Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Lip Sync ContestAn exciting day in the warm and California sunshine at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Fill your Saturday with rides, games, and the beautiful sandy beach! Back at camp in the evening, get a group of friends together or hit the stage solo. Strut your stuff and lip sync your heart out! Sunday, July 9 – Christmas in JulyMERRY CHRISTMAS! It’s time to sing Christmas carols, play holiday-themed games, make snowflakes, and more with all of your camp friends! In the evening, we gather to decorate cookies and listen to live ukulele music!

Monday, July 10 – Checks vs. Stripes - Ships and SailorsAhoy, Matey! Ships and Sailors is the name of the game and each round is played with a difficult twist. Grab your lifesaver, it’s going to be a rocky ride!

Tuesday, July 11 –Farmers’ MarketExplore Monterey’s Farmer’s Market filled with tasty food stalls and unique stands that have everything from clothing to carrots.

Wednesday, July 12 – 3rd Annual Counselors vs. Campers KickballCheer loudly and proudly, as the campers and counselors meet on the “pitch” and compete in a rollicking kickball tournament. Each dorm competes against their own counselors in a jungle-style game!

Thursday, July 13 – Day Camper Appreciation Sleepover and Director’s ChoiceDay campers are invited to sleepover! At night, “Director’s Choice” is the name of the game! Camp Director, Julie Forrest has a fun surprise picked out for us! Can anyone guess what this epic surprise may be?

Friday, July 14 – Camp’s Got TalentArrive ready to show your unique talent and humor to new friends and old. Sing, dance, act, or show us something crazy that makes us smile and laugh!

Saturday, July 15 – Monterey Zoo and Hall-LuckWelcome to the jungle, campers! Come enjoy a thrilling day at the Monterey Zoo, feeding elephants, and hanging out with all of the zoo animals with your camp sisters. In the evening, relax with your friends, make bracelets and lanyards, sing songs, and enjoy a treat.

Sunday, July 16 – Pool Party and Spa NightSplish and splash with a camp pool party. In the evening, we wind down by kicking up our feet and relaxing with facemasks, nail painting, and having a good laugh with friends!

Monday, July 17 – Checks vs. Stripes - CharadesThis final Check and Stripe match up can be the tie breaker or the heart breaker. Who is this year’s Camp Champion?

We are sad that camp has come to an end, but it is time to say goodbye to all of the friends you have made at camp! Make sure you get each other’s phone numbers and emails! These friendships last a lifetime! Closing performances and reception for our 3- and 5-week campers and their families begin at 10:00 a.m. and wrap-up around 1:00 p.m.
