Thread Bits It’s springtime and the flowers are just beautiful—it’s the
time of year that you find yourself wanting to stay outside! However, we have such a great class schedule for these spring and summer months, that you will not want to miss them. New classes, new teachers, and a busy event schedule. We are excited to be having the NC Quilt Symposium, Quilting With The Stars, hosted by our own Capital Quilters Guild here in Raleigh beginning June 2nd through June 5th. The show will be held at William Peace University in downtown Raleigh. There are great teachers coming, so don’t wait to sign up for a class. And don’t forget to stop by our booth and say hello! Row by Row will be starting on June 21st through September 6, 2016, so when you are traveling, don’t forget to check rowbyrowexperience.com for the list of shops that will be participating. While you are vacationing, stop in these shops to receive your free Row by Row pattern for 2016. Be the first one to complete a quilt with 8 rows, quilted, labeled, and bound. Return it to a participating shop and receive 25 fat quarters as a prize. Kick-off for our Quilt!Carolina shop hop will be June 16th. This will be the first day that passports will be sold. This year’s tour is going to so much fun as we are having special batik fabrics designed and printed by Island Batiks for those with passports. The theme for this event is “Fall In love With Quilting”—so don’t miss out on the fun. There have been 2 quilts designed for our Quilt!Carolina event—one for the Triangle and one for the Triad area. You will be glad you participated in this fun event. So after all this, just what have we added to our own store for the spring and summer….? Judy Rains will be teaching the Judy Niemeyer method of foundation piecing. This will be a beginning class which could get you inspired to do advanced classes. We welcome Jim Matlock to our group as he will be teaching a Beginning Sewing class. The newest thing is coloring! Kathy Hefner will be showing you just how exciting and relaxing this can be! You will note that our regular instructors have new patterns and classes on this schedule. Don’t miss out! Check your emails and our Facebook page for lots of interesting happenings! We wish for each of you a great spring and summer. May your days be merry and bright—we appreciate each of you and look forward to seeing you in the store.
Happy Stitching!

Saturday Sampler Rules 2016 1. Limit 1 kit per person. 2. First month’s kit is $10. Each month thereafter, your
kit is free if you bring the previous month’s completed block and sit through a complete demonstration session.
3. If you miss the demo, you will need to pay $6 to get your next kit.
4. If you prefer to pay instead of sitting through the demo, you can pick up your kit and give us $6 any time after the first session of the month.
5. Remember, one free kit per person per session. Translation: You cannot pick up a free kit for yourself and a free kit for someone else. You will need to pay for one.
Class Registration Policy Register early to ensure your space in class. Class fee is
required to register. Register in person, by phone with a credit card, or by mail with a check. Specify class, date, time. Supplies are not included in the class fee unless so stated. We make every effort to keep the cost of our classes at a reasonable fee and to ensure customer satisfaction. To this end, we encourage you to purchase your class supplies from BWOS. Remember, you receive a 10% class discount and may use your Happy Stitcher’s Reward keytag.
Classes start on time. Have all class supplies purchased by class time. And please, no children or babies in adult classes. Please silence your mobile phone while in class. We also ask that you refrain from using perfume or fragrance in consideration of those with sensitivities. If unable to attend a class, we can transfer you to another class or issue a credit or refund if we are notified one week prior to the class starting date. If the minimum number of people have not signed up for a class by the registration deadline, the class will be cancelled, and payment will be fully refunded. Inclement weather policy: If Wake County public schools are closed, all classes that day and evening at BWOS are cancelled and will be rescheduled.
Our Mission: The Best Product. The Best Service. The Best Education.
