East Peoria’s Shute School brought three kindergarten classes to visit CIRT on May 6th. The students had collected aluminum cans throughout the school year and brought a great donation of $152.oo . They enjoyed their visit with the horses and touring the barn. And the horses enjoyed all the attention from these eager young students and their teachers.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone at Shute School for all their help!

Volunteers are the heart of our

program

Young Leaders Work Day Benefits CIRT Many thanks for all their hard work. It really benefits the horses, staff and ultimately the students.

Colonel is curious about all the activity going on outside his stall! The Tazewell County Farm Bureau Young Leaders came to CIRT in April for a work day. They built new

fences behind each horse stall and made a $50 donation toward finishing the work.

4-H Clubs Lend Helping Hands to CIRT to help other kids!

The Paws Claws and Hooves 4-H Club came to CIRT once again this year to weed and clean up the flower beds. They look great!

To all involved… ... Thank you ...Thank you... Thank you … for all your hard work and generosity.

Hats off to three area 4-H Clubs that helped spruce up things at the barn.

The Blazing Saddles 4-H Club, and Resonate Church cleaned many areas in the barn and laundry room (and donated the cleaning supplies to CIRT!).

In April the Tremont Co-op 4-H Intermediary cleaned the sawdust and barn area to tidy up the indoor facil-ity. They also donated $500 for rider scholarships
