Department Managers will be able to complete on-line forms to:

• Hire

• Terminate

• Transfer – to a different job, department, or company

• Promote

• Grant bonuses

Project Purposes

• Minimize data entry

• Establish notification/authorization of managers’ actions

Project Steps

• Analysis & Design

– understanding & analysis of the current system

– documentation of the new system’s requirements

– design the format of the new system

• Development & Testing

– programming interactive web pages with ColdFusion software (still in process)

– creation of Access database to test the system

– testing of the pages parallel to their creation (still in process)

What I have learned

• Work of a Business Analyst

• Programming behind interactive web pages

• ColdFusion - Learned entirely new software application

• More about databases– writing complex queries– differences between Oracle and Access
