FMS Meeting: 7/21/14

• Discussion of progress refurbishing the FMS– First delivery of ~40-50 finished bases from PSU– Stacking to begin July 30 (Wednesday)

• Mriganka Mondal: discussion of problems with trigger threshold energies

• Christopher Dilks: (Measurement of ALL for pions in FMS in Run 12/13)- Measured Transverse Spin Asymmetries (AN/ATT/AS) to estimate systematic errors on ALL in case of small transverse component.

• Kevin Atkins: Discussion of how to determine phi_C systematic error in Run 12 Collins analysis: cross ratio or H2/H1 method- Decided on cross ratio method

• Zilong Chang: Run 12 Inclusive Jet pT Shift Studies- Using Run 11 pp500 Embedding Sample. Need pT shift to correct pT for Detector (measured jets) -> Particle Jets -> Parton Jets (comparable to theory):
