THE GLOBAL DIPLOMATIC FORUM (GDF), IS A NON-GOVERNMENTAL, NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATION AIMING AT CONTRIBUTING TO GLOBAL PEACE AND PROSPERITY THROUGH PIONEERING GLOBAL PROGRAMMES. WE HAVE DEVELOPED A COMPREHENSIVE HUB IN ORDER TO EXPAND AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE IN THE AREAS RELATED TO DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS ACROSS THE GLOBE.

The flagship programme for youth at the GDF is the Young Diplomats Forum (YDF), which takes place twice a year-once in London and one in an international location.

In addition to London, previous editions took place in Ankara (Turkey), Mexico City /Querétaro (Mexico) and Athens (Greece). This year it is set to take place in Rabat (Morocco). The Young Diplomats Forum has alumni of over 400 alumni people from more than 100 countries.

Each edition has welcomed participants from every part of the world - every continent and region has been represented. The GDF offers scholarships to ensure representation of every region in the world.

This is a weeklong programme that engages young participants on some of the major global issues that challenge the international community with established diplomats and policy makers.

Each YDF brought together between 75-100 participants and more than 20 tutors that collaborated in different workshops, where they exchanged perspectives, experiences and stories.

STUDY DIPLOMACY AND CAREER IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

Study Diplomacy is a unique platform dedicated specifically to studies and training in Diplomacy, International Affairs and related courses. It was launched as a response to enquiries from members of our Young Diplomats Forum Alumni regarding education and training in the field of international affairs

Careers in International Affairs Fair - is an annual meeting in which prospects students , universities, recruiters and experts network, share their offerings and exchange insights in the field. The First Edition will take place in April 2016

Youth and Foreign Policy Diplomacy To be launched in partnership with the FCO and The Royal Borough of Greenwich. Aims to Increase awareness and engagement of youth in international affairs. Targeting 15-18 yr olds. Promotes diplomacy as a way for conflict resolution.

Sessions will focus of providing role models for the youngsters in this field and emphasising the fundamentals of international relations which is to create prosperity opportunities and resolve conflicts in peaceful ways, as opposed to the narrative that pushes for hatred and violence. Greenwich will become the benchmark for this initiate which will be rolled out nationwide.

The GDF will facilitate and run the sessions. We will work with the Royal Borough of Greenwich in terms of providing guidance and advice on the schools to engage with and input into the programme.

Greenwich Race for Peace 2017Planned as an annual event, the Greenwich Race for Peace will be a diplomatic sports initiative dedicated to inspiring people-to-people diplomacy and understanding within marginalised communities both locally and internationally.

We aim to bring people and nations together, by creat ing advocacy and neutral sport ing environments that promote positive dialogue, mutual understanding and shared learning opportunities.

We will inspire this annual movement to engage communities from the diplomatic, political, corporate, NGO, civic and academic community.

A key ingredient of our process is bringing together different people, communities and nations into one race. That race will break physical and emotional boundaries and create historic moments and memories. We will look to engage national and international partners.
