Detailed Professional Work Experience:

1. Head of Audit : East Coast Group –Fujairah & Dubai: December 2015

till date.

Heading the function of Internal Audit across the multi industrial gamut of the

group. Industries covered includes – Real Estate, Civil Construction, MEP

Constructions. Aluminium and Glass Constructions, Logistics, Mineral Water

Manufacturing and Bottling, Gaming Equipment’s Trading, Facility

Management, PMVE, etc.

Key Achievements

a. Established a structured audit plan for the group across its various industries

to enable the implementation of an Internal control infrastructure.

b. Established a successful Pre-Audit Division which currently reviews all

Purchases, Payments, JV’s, Agreements, and Petty Cash fund utilisation

across the group.

c. Developed the Policy and Procedures for all the Industries in the group

enabling an effective and efficient process.

d. Implemented a Fraud detection Infrastructure through the following:

i. Whistle blower network amongst its construction activities

ii. Pre-Audit

iii. Internal Audit plan

iv. Fraud Hotline

v. Whistle blower protection plan

The above areas of implementation has enabled the detection of frauds of over 1

Million $ in the organisation. Further, the implementation of an effective Internal

Audit Plan had helped to reduce cost of over 600,000/- USD in addition to the

establishment of a control infrastructure in the organisation.

e. Facilitated the RFP development of SAP ERP in the group with a panoramic

review of the activities across the group.

3. Chief Executive Officer for NTS Group for Indian Operations – From August

2011 to July 2012. NTS is a large group involved in Health, Education,

Hospitality, Retail, Construction, and international trade.

Achievements during tenure as CEO included the following:

a. Developed a Tourism Project of over INR 200 Crores with multi-luxury

activities. Tie-ups with necessary project partners were organised and

finalised as per the development strategy identified by the CEO’s Office.

b. Developed a project of gated community with 28 villas and a 72 apartment

complex.

c. Revived a loss making manufacturing unit of McDowell’s purified and Soda

water factory. The restructuring and business development strategy was

formulated by me which involved strategic changes in Marketing, Finance,

HR and Operational activities. (M/s.Varuna Aqua Products Pvt Ltd-

Franchisee of McDowells brand in Kerala and Tamil Nadu)

d. Restructured the operations of a Physiotherapy clinic and developed the

same in the territory of Kerala. (Pain-go-away A German linked

organisation)

e. Revived a suspended Property development project with a renewed time

frame and ensured a timely completion for the same. Initiated the marketing

activities of the property which invited immediate bookings for 50% of the

project assets.

f. Implemented a strategic buyout of a school for the Group which has been

operational for over 14 years.

Over the years I had developed and strengthened the profession and scope of

internal audit in the Arenco Group. The gamut of responsibilities fell into
