DEFINITON:

A suicide is an attack upon a target in which an attacker intends to kill others and/or cause great damage, knowing that he or she will either certainly or most likely die in the process.

Between 1981 and 2006, 1200 suicide attacks occurred around the world, constituting 4% of all terrorist attacks but 32% (14,599 people) of all terrorism-related deaths. 90% of these attacks occurred in Iraq,Israel,Afghanistan,Pakistan and Srilanka.

HISTORYTo counter the superior numbers of the Chula dynasty empire's army in the 11th century CE, suicide squads were raised by the Indian Cheraw  rulers. This helped the Chelas to resist Chula invasion and maintain the independence of their kingdom from the time of Kulothunga Chula I. These warriors were known as the "chavers". Later, these suicide squads rendered service as police, volunteer troop and fighting squad in the region. Now their primary duty was to assist local rulers in battles and skirmishes. The rulers of the state of Valluvanad are known to have deployed a number of suicide squads against the ruler of Calicut.

Since the attack on the World Trade Center in on September 11, 2001 the world has grown accustomed to reports of "suicide bombers." They are often portrayed as deluded or crazed, and they hold an almost lurid fascination for their willingness to kill themselves while killing others. This month, historian Jeffrey William Lewis puts what many of us see as a recent phenomenon in a longer historical perspective. He argues that it is more useful to think about suicide bombers as a type of human military technology that is controlled by an organization rather than as a form of individual fanaticism.

CPLC REPORT ABOUT KIDNAPPING CASES FROM 2003-2012

Due to lack of confidence between the affected citizens and the police, kidnapping for ransom in Pakistan had created a reign of terror during the year 2003-2012. It was with the co-ordinated efforts of Citizens - Police Liaison Committee and Army Investigation Team (A.I.T.) consisting of Military Intelligence (MI), Rangers, I.B, Police and S.S.G. Commandos that this heinous crime has been contained and pakistan can now heave a sigh of relief.

What is Transgender?

Transgender, or Trans: means someone whose gender differs from the one they were given when they were born. Transgender people may identify as male or female, or they may feel that neither label fits them.Transition: In order to express their chosen gender, transgender people may transition, or change, from the gender they were given at birth. They may change their names, pronouns or style of dress. Some transgender people also choose a medical transition, with the help of medical specialists, who will prescribe hormones and/or surgery.Transsexual: a person who lives in a different gender to the one they were given when they were born. For example, someone who was called a ‘boy’ when they were born may feel very strongly that they are really a girl. They would be called a trans woman. If someone was labeled a ‘girl’ at birth, and they later realize that they are male, they would be called a trans man.Gender Identity: a person’s internal feelings, and the labels they use, such as male, female, or transgender.
