Location: Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
Situation:146 vertical and horizontal copper drain lines, more than half
a mile in length, were recently installed in the hospital’s new
wing and laboratory. The customer asked Nu Flow to line the
drain pipes to prevent future problems, because the lab
routinely pours corrosive chemicals down the drains.
Solution:Although Nu Flow usually lines drains with our Pull-in-Place
structural liner, our technicians decided the best solution was
our blown-in epoxy to create a protective coating inside the
pipes. Our patented epoxy will minimize pipe corrosion and
extend the drain system’s life, saving the customer money.
