Collaboration and the Team Charter
There are several questions to ask during the chartering process that will prepare the group for what kind of collaborating and contributing is expected of them. Such as:
Will the team be managed by a leader, or self-managed?
If there is no leader, then who is responsible for ensuring that the team reaches their goal?
What are the team’s boundaries?
How much time will be given? How often are members expected to meet?
When and where will the team meet? How will it meet? How will members communicate with one another?
