Who should come to the Screening Clinic?Any Placer County adult who is interested to learn more about substance use treatment options in Placer County. Please call in advance if cultural or linguistic accommodations are needed.

What does a screening involve? After completing paperwork in our waiting area, a clinician will meet with you in a separate room and begin the screening. We use a brief screening tool that asks questions about several areas of your life including your substance use history, current medical concerns, and environmental factors that impact your recovery. The answers to these questions help our clinicians determine what type of treatment to recommend.
