Summary of the Processes

The results shown on the following pages demonstrate the effectiveness of Banyan Treatment Center’s treatment programs. A large

percentage of adults successfully completed treatment and reported continuous abstinence after treatment. Clients, families, and

referral sources also reported a high level of satisfaction with programs and services.

The Study

Banyan Treatment Center, a leading national provider of substance abuse and mental health treatment services, conducted a study

to determine client outcomes regarding success in recovery follwing treatment. From this data we were able to study recovery and

whole-person outcomes of individuals who completed treatment at Banyan Treatment Center. Client data is self-reported.

The Sample

Banyan Treatment Center analyzed data from patients who received care during the year of 2018. The sample used in the outcome

analysis included 4,351 patients who self-reported information upon admission and 2,184 patients who self-reported upon discharge.

There were 6,492 patients admitted ranging in age from 18 to 81 years, with an average age of 36. Of those who were included in the

study, 67% were male and 33% were female.
