The Committee reports to the Parliament as follows—

The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (International Travel) (Scotland) Regulations2020 were laid before the Parliament on 8 June 2020 and referred to the Health andSport Committee.

The Regulations are subject to affirmative procedure (Rule 10.6).

The Justice Sub-Committee on Policing held an evidence session on 9 June 2020:

Following the evidence session, the Justice Sub-Committee on Policing issued thefollowing letters:

• Letter to Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Justice – 10 June 2020;

• Letter to Iain Livingstone QPM, Chief Constable, Police Scotland – 10 June2020; and

• Letter to John Scott QC, Chair, The Independent Advisory Group on Police Useof Temporary Powers related to the Coronavirus Crisis - 10 June 2020.

The following responses have been received by the Justice Sub-Committee onPolicing:

• Letter from Humza Yousaf, Cabinet Secretary for Justice - 12 June 2020; and

• Letter from Iain Livingstone QPM, Chief Constable, Police Scotland - 19 June2020.

At its meeting on 16 June 2020, the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committeeagreed to draw the attention of Parliament to the instrument under the generalreporting ground.

It is for the Health and Sport Committee to recommend to the Parliament whetherthe Regulations should be approved.

The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Jeane Freeman MSP, has, by motionS5M-22031, proposed that the Committee recommends approval of theRegulations.

The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (International Travel) (Scotland) AmendmentRegulations 2020 were laid before the Parliament on 9 June 2020 and referred tothe Health and Sport Committee.

The Regulations are subject to affirmative procedure (Rule 10.6).

At its meeting on 16 June 2020, the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committeeconsidered the instrument and determined that it did not need to draw the attentionof the Parliament to the instrument on any grounds within its remit
