Dear Parents

Summer holidays are about to start. It’s time for fun n frolic for the

kids. While fun is essential to their age, constructive activities &

fruitful occupation of their time is of vital importance. It paves the

way towards a bright future for the child and a progressive learning

graph. ➢ Free play time should alternate with structured games- this

cultivates sportsmanship.

➢ Assign a permanent workplace and a work time. This brings in a

system and discipline into the child’s life.

➢ Inculcate good manners, healthy habits and respect for elders.

➢ Never ever compare or hurt their pride, as it will stunt their

confidence.

We are giving a short assignment for the vacation. We have tried to

make the work enjoyable, keeping in mind their interest. Space out

the work & the child will enjoy doing it.

A format has been provided to be filled as and when a task is

accomplished. This will help the child to be more organized.

Wishing all of you a very enjoyable and fun-packed summer

break.

The holiday homework has to be done neatly on coloured A4 size sheets

and submitted in a beautifully decorated folder. It will be assessed on

the basis of content, originality, creativity and neatness.

Create a Gratitude Jar ❖ Take an empty jar , decorate it beautifully and label it as

Gratitude Jar and also write your name and class.

❖ During the vacation note down on A4 size sheet the actions

done by you which made others happy.

❖ Select any 5 of these actions and write them on neatly cut

stripes of papers (6”X2”) and put them in the jar.

❖ Bring the jar to school after summer vacation to share your

joyous and thankful moments with your classmates and

teachers. You will be adjudged for your speaking skills by your English teacher.

SAVE EARTHby using different shapes and tools . Bring the coloured
