The TOPS Program will be hosting a Theory of Change training, designed and taught by TANGOInternational. The training takes participants through the process of developing a theory of change, andit is designed for program designers and M&E specialists. The Office of Food for Peace will be offering an online Food for Peace Management Information System

(FFPMIS) training session for current FFPMIS users.

The training comprises two distinct sessions:

11:00 11:30: This session will provide FFPMIS users with a refresher on navigating, searching,

and creating actions in the system.

11:45 1:00: This session will illustrate the procedures for entering requests for funding for cash

based programming for development and emergency programs, as well as entering actuals for

cashbased programming.

Tufts University Food Aid Quality Review (FAQR) Research ResultsDisseminationMay 28, 2015; 9:00AM 1:00PM Save the Children, 2000 L Street NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC & Online

The TOPS Program and the Tufts University Food Aid Quality Review (FAQR), with support from theUSAID Office of Food for Peace (FFP), are organizing a halfday session to update the food security andnutrition community on results from a feasibility and acceptability study on the consumption of cornsoyblend (CSB) with increased amounts of fortified vegetable oil (FVO). The study was implemented inMalawi within the Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) Wellness and Agriculture for Life Advancement(WALA) program. Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss and investigate resultimplications for Food for Peacefunded programming. RSVP by May 22.

An Introduction to Resilience at USAID and Beyond

This free online course introduces learners to the basics of resilience as an analytic, programmatic and

organizing concept and discusses USAID’s resilience work to date. As an introduction, it is intended to

be the first step to be followed by an advanced course on this topic.

FY 2015 RFA for FFP Development Food Assistance Projects inBangladesh and MaliThe Fiscal Year 2015 Request for Applications (RFA) for the Office of Food for Peace (FFP) Title II

development food assistance projects in Bangladesh and Mali are now available, in addition to the

countryspecific information (CSI) for Bangladesh and Mali and the Technical References.

Applications should be based on these documents and are due May 28, 2015, by 11:59 AM EDT.

Please do not wait until the last day to submit applications. FFP will work toward an expedient decision

and will inform successful applicants of its decision.

This reference tool is for anyone who works in public health orinternational development health and wants to bring together a groupof people to discuss ideas, address challenges, and share bestpractices.

A share fair is a participatory event—usually focused on a single topicor field—that promotes learning from participants’ experiences toimprove their work. As they are tailored to the needs of theparticipants, there is no right or wrong way to hold share fairs. Theaim of these events is to provide participants with opportunities toshare experiences and learn new skills and techniques related totheir work.
