Interns’ feedback
Darragh Gerard O'Connor (Ireland)In Dachao elementary school, I got lots of students to teach English and Irish culture. I also learned their culture to interacting with people and teachers…. It made me learn more about Taiwanese culture. I felt it was a very rich experience not only for myself but for them. Overall I found this TEEP program has being one of the best experiences of my life.
Alejandra Wenceslao (US)I joined this program because in the future I want to become a teacher. Probably I will be receiving students from all over the world not just students from America. So I want to see what education is like in other places…. Overall the students were really lovely, I am taking a lot of life experiences from Taiwan.
Monica Ford (US)
I really enjoyed the short weekend I spent in Baihe at the middle school, not just on outings with the host family, but also experiencing a different school setting. …I enjoyed staying in one school for a while, getting to know the staff and having opportunities to interact with the students at the store and library made the experience so rewarding.
