Rise of the Study Dru1 A "study drug" is used to increase

concentration and attention. Many students use study drugs when completing assignments or studying for exams. Common study drugs

include:

• Adderall • Ritalin • Vyvanse • Concerta • Focalin • Modafnil

What Is Adderall? Approved by the FDA in 1960, Adderall is a

schedule 2 stimulant drug that is prescribed by a doctor and provided by a pharmacy. It is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity

disorder (ADHD) in adults and children. It is a combination of two stimulant drugs-

amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. Adderall helps those with ADHD increase their

attention span and their level of control.
