The purpose of this study
To gain insight into how Instructional designers conceptualize learning objects (LOs) and their attributes. It aimed to identify the range and types of conceptualizations of LO attributes held by a group of designers.
Instrument
There are many instruments such as, Participants: The 10 designers participating in the study were all instructional designers working at Canadian universities or colleges.Data collection: Data were collected via two semi-structured phone interviews With each of the designers.Data analysis: Open coding was used to analyze, compare and create categories for the data.
